Discovering New Places

Have you ever found yourself in an unfamiliar city with a few hours to spare? I recently found myself in Littleton, Colorado with my camera in my hands and no place to be. So I googled “best places to take photos in Littleton.” The internet search led me to the Littleton Museum and Hudson Gardens where I made some beautiful photographs.

Whether you are a photographer or just enjoy discovering new places, an internet search of places to take pictures will likely lead you to discover architecture, gardens, history and so much more. I have done this in my own city as well which has taken me to public displays of art, a hidden wildlife preserve, and a turn-of-the-century picnic spot.

So, next time you find yourself with nothing to do for a few hours, do a quick internet search of photogenic locations and see where it leads you!

  1. Looking at your photos is like taking a mini vacation! You have a great eye. Do you intensify the colors of the flowers?

    1. Thanks Jeanne. I’m glad you get enjoyment from my photos. I do process my photos in Photoshop and may bump up the saturation a bit but I try not to stray too far from the original.
